About this society
Mother of Perpetual Help
THE CONFRATERNITY OF OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP
It's a Marian / Charity organisation of the Catholic Church.
In the Iconography, Mary is represented as the one who guides us to the Redeemer. The Star painted on Mary's Veil centered on her forehead, highlights her role in the plan of salvation as both the Mother of God and our Mother.
As a community, we pray for the salvation of our souls through Charity and prayer devotion to our Mother of Perpetual Help which has often led to healing, miracles and answered prayer.
Our annual feast is on the 27th of July, and National convention held at our National Shrine Ugwogonike on the 2nd week on November
Our Novena comes up every 1st week of every month except some exceptions on some Marian celebrations..
