Confirmation
Confirmation completes baptismal grace and strengthens the confirmed for Christian witness. Candidates prepare through parish formation; the sacrament is celebrated with the Bishop on a date set each pastoral year.

Requirements
What you will typically need before Confirmation at Mater Misericordiae. The parish office will confirm details for your situation.
- Candidate must be baptised and have received First Holy Communion (certificates required).
- Enrolment in the parish Confirmation formation programme.
- Regular Mass attendance and participation in retreats or formation sessions as scheduled.
- A Confirmation sponsor who is a confirmed practising Catholic (not a parent).
- Willingness to live as a disciple and serve in the parish community.
