Our parish bears the name of Mother of Mercy for a reason. Mercy is not a soft word for soft people — it is the power of God meeting human weakness and raising it into new life.
When we gather for Mass, go to Confession, or serve a neighbour in need, we are not inventing kindness. We are answering Christ, who first loved us. Faith grows when we practise what we profess: trust, repentance, and works of mercy.
This week, choose one concrete act of mercy — a visit, a phone call, a quiet prayer for someone who has hurt you. Let Mater Misericordiae be known not only by our name, but by our way of loving.
