Saint friendships are one of God’s great gifts to the young. Look for peers who tell the truth, celebrate virtue, and will go to Mass with you even when it is inconvenient.
Be that friend yourself: invite someone to youth meeting, check in when a classmate is struggling, and refuse gossip.
Holiness is contagious. So is cynicism. Choose wisely — and ask Mary to guard your friendships.
